Ross Video Ultrix

Ultrix is Ross Video's hyperconverged routing platform. One FPGA-based, 12G chassis carries routing, multiviewers, audio processing, and frame syncing, and it switches anything from 270 Mb/s SDI up to single-link 12G UHD, with SDI, ST 2110, NDI, Dante, and MADI in the same frame. Capabilities are added by software license, so the hardware stays put while the feature set grows.
It's a hero product for a broadcast engineer, and it's exactly the kind of hardware that photographs as a black rectangle in a rack. The render treats it as an object worth looking at: raking light picks out the card edges and the front panel, the status LEDs read as live, and the rear I/O is available as a second view for the people who buy on connectivity.
