Leadership

Meet the team

Four leaders. One vision. Backed by an exceptional team.

Mainstay brings together technical, creative, and operational leadership around one goal: making complex industrial products easier to understand and easier to sell.

Behind them is a US-based team and production pipeline built to carry work from CAD through photoreal 3D, video, AR, and interactive experiences, without the fragmented handoffs typical of traditional production.

Co-Founder & Chief Experience Officer

Kelly Massad

Kelly founded Mainstay in 2022 after spending enough time at industrial trade shows watching incredible machines get represented by PDFs, aging product photos, and the occasional 1:30 scale plastic models built for ants. For products that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, he figured the story should probably work a little harder. He built Mainstay around a simple idea: if a buyer can’t understand what makes a complex product remarkable, the marketing has already failed. That thinking has grown into a platform that’s produced thousands of 3D assets for more than 100 industrial brands. Kelly spends most of his time between obsessing over client experience, building product strategy, and asking questions that usually start with, “Why the hell are we still doing it that way?”.

Technical Lead

Giovanni Vargas

Giovanni builds the systems that keep Mainstay moving. He’s the architect behind Brizo, our multi-agent AI system that triages, routes, and dispatches incoming work, along with the WebAR infrastructure that puts a full-scale machine in a buyer’s space without an app download. He lives somewhere between software, automation, and “there has to be a better way to do this.” If something takes six steps, Giovanni wants to know why it can’t take two. That obsession is a big reason a STEP file can move through Mainstay and become a finished, deployable experience without a trail of spreadsheets, handoffs, and crossed fingers. There’s a decent chance he’s already automated the thing you were about to ask him to do.

MESH Lead, Client Success

Adelaide Walker

Adelaide is the connective tissue between our clients and everything moving through Mainstay. She leads MESH, keeping priorities straight, communication flowing, and the right people in the right conversations before something has a chance to get complicated. She has a slightly alarming ability to remember the deadline you mentioned three weeks ago, the feedback buried six emails deep, and the thing you casually said you’d need before the next trade show. As relationships grow and more starts moving through the platform, Adelaide keeps it all feeling organized, personal, and easy. If you’re about to ask, “Hey, what’s happening with…” there’s a pretty good chance Adelaide is already on it.

Lead 3D Architect

Christian Jimenez

Christian orchestrates the 3D team behind Mainstay’s visual work. He takes the product story, sets the creative direction, and makes sure every artist working on it knows exactly what the buyer needs to see and why it matters. He sweats the materials, lighting, camera angles, tiny mechanical details, and all the things most people wouldn’t notice unless they were wrong. Whether it’s one hero render or an entire product line, Christian keeps the work sharp, consistent, and unmistakably Mainstay. He’s also the guy who will move a camera two degrees, stare at it for five minutes, move it back one degree, and somehow be right.
